Lexus LF-LC
Autocar news says, Lexus may be pondering a production edition of the
company’s LF-LC Concept. After receiving a near collectively positive
welcome following its presentation at the Detroit Auto Show this year,
Karl Schlicht, head of Lexus product planning, reportedly gave the
vehicle a 50-50 shot at hitting dealers sometime in the future.
Scion FR-S
By now we already know plethora about the 2013 Scion FR-S. It uses a
2.0-liter normally aspirated flat-4 cranking out 200 horsepower. It’s
got a six-speed manual transmission and it weighs about 2,800 pounds.
The U.S.-market sister ship to the Subaru BRZ, the Scion FR-S, will go
on sale this spring. It is an unusual car for parent company Toyota, or
at least the Toyota of late.
Toyota NS4
Toyota can justifiably be proud of its position not only as one of
the largest automakers in the world, but also the world leader in hybrid
vehicles. In fact, the Japanese automaker claims that half of all
hybrids sold are Toyotas. But it didn’t get there by resting on its
proverbial laurels, and it isn’t going to maintain (let alone increase)
its market share by doing so, either.
Mazda Shinari
The Shinari concept, which roughly translates to “resistance to being
bent,” will serve as a basis for Mazda’s new design language, and many
of the styling cues will make it to future production vehicles. That
means that the Shinari will essentially affect the design of every
vehicle coming from the Japanese automaker for the next quite a few
years. An important car for Mazda? You bet.
Jaguar C-X16
The C-X16 is our compelling vision for a 21st century Jaguar sports
car. It embodies the established Jaguar strengths of sensual design,
animal-like agility and inspirational performance and combines these
with attributes that set us on a course to create sustainable sports
cars of the future.
Ford Evos
Ford is the only automaker hocked every advantage to challenge the
odds of the Great depression without government handouts, transforming
itself while productively auctioning off all its surplus brands, getting
back to its roots and unifying its mainstream models in North America,
Europe, and Asia for the first time since, most likely, the Model T.
That means it’s all over for the present union and Mondeo. The Ford Evos
impression will debut mid-September at the Frankfurt International Auto
Show, and smart money says you’ll see much of its exterior design, and
even some of the interior design, on the new production version of the
Fusion when it bows at the North American International Auto Show next
January in Detroit.
Cadillac Ciel
Championing the magnificence of leisurely driving, Cadillac’s
dramatic new open-air handcrafted concept car speaks to luxurious
motoring while focusing on simplicity. There’s no question that this car
says that Cadillac can once again describe American lavishness; it
looks obviously toward the future though respectful of the brand’s
inheritance.
Bertone Jaguar B99
The concept cars planned to emerge at the Geneva Motor Show, nothing
deception us more than Bertone’s B99 Jaguar Concept. Bertone has once
again teamed up with Jaguar to create an impressive looking concept car
for the Geneva Motor Show. The car has been styled in Italy, but only
after being briefed by Jaguar’s creative chief Ian Callum and advanced
design boss Julian Thomson.
Alfa Romeo 4C
Finally in the top 10 list of the concept cars, we’ve just found an
update on the Alfa 4C. The chick standing by side looks pretty hot than
Alfa Romeo 4C that’s why I advised my editor not to place this picture,
the audience get distracted. Okay now lets concentrate a bit on the list
topper. It sounds like it’s going to be even more wonderful than they
first promised. Its engineers are confident of getting the first
prototype on the road for the middle of 2012, with the final car on sale
a year after that. It will be distinctly exotic, but remarkable value.
Kia GT
Korean auto producer, Kia, has been far more belligerent in expanding
its corporation profile in the past couple of years and establishing
itself as one of the most popular automakers in the world. Now we’re
learning that Kia is set to endeavor into a whole new market after news
broke that they have green-lighted the production of the Kia GT Concept
sports car for 2013. We first saw the GT Concept at the 2011 Frankfurt
Auto Show a few months ago and were left breathless at the car’s
cutting-edge design and significant – at least for Kia – performance
numbers.
